Located in the heart of the Carnegie Mellon University Campus sits the Randy Pausch Bridge that connects the School of Drama to the School of Computer Science. At night the bridge transforms into an architectural wonder with light shows that illuminate the bridge throughout the course of the evening. Students were given the opportunity to collaborate and design their own light shows as a welcome back to campus for the students of CMU after the COVID-19 pandemic halted regular campus life. Our group moulded our show around global warming and the effects it has on the environment. Using saturated colors and movement of light we were able to tell a story that embodies the beauty and destruction of the natural world.
